Introduction

Lofty manages four types of MLS application processes: Agreement, Instruction, Online, and Vendor. These processes are designed to streamline your MLS applications and provide you with updates on their progress, as each MLS processes their application differently. Depending on the MLS you are applying to, you will go through one of the four processes.

Vendor

This article covers the Vendor process, which starts when you submit an MLS application through the CMS. The Vendor process involves verification steps by specific MLS vendors to confirm your MLS membership before approving your application.

Once you submit your MLS application in CMS, you will go through the following two stages:

1. Lofty Checks MLS Membership
2. Data Integration

Once you submit your application, Lofty will review your MLS membership automatically with MLS records. If the process passes, the MLS data will be integrated to your website immediately. If it fails, we will manually verify your membership details within 48 hours.

Estimated Time: Two (2) business days.

What Happens: Lofty checks the information you provided and verifies your MLS membership. If anything is missing or needs further clarification, we will reach out to you. Once the auto-verification passes, the MLS will automatically update to "Active".

What You Can Do: If your application remains pending at this stage for more than two (2) business days, click the “Request Update” button in the CMS. Our MLS Support team will prioritize your request and provide an update.

2. Data Integration

Once your MLS membership is verified, we will proceed with the data integration process to sync the MLS data with your CMS.

Estimated Time: One (1) business day.

What Happens: Your listing data will be integrated to your CMS, allowing you to manage your listings for your website and CRM.
