Overview

Some MLSs operate across multiple states, while you may only service a specific area and prefer to exclude listings outside of those regions from being displayed on your website or sent in your Lofty Property Alerts. 

The Global Listing Filters feature allows you to customize the area in which which listings are displayed on your website, in the Listings tab, and sent in your Property Alerts. This is important to help you ensure compliance with local regulations and improving the overall user experience for yourself and your clients.

Key Features

• Customizable Listing Display: You can select which Office or State listings you would like to have displayed or sent. Listings not meeting the selection criteria will not be accessible through Google search. 
• Unified Settings: The configuration applies across all listing modules in both the CMS and CRM, streamlining the management process.

How to Configure Global Listing Filters

Step 1: Access the Edit Global Filters button

Log into Lofty, then click Website >  Listings > MLS Integration.

Look for the Total Listings edit button in the upper right corner. It will be visible only when there are active or pending MLSs.

In the selection window, specify the Office and/or State that you want to include. At the top, Total Listings will display the number of listings that match your selection. 

Important Notes

Listings excluded from your selection will not be accessible on the website, in the CRM, or via Google search.

Ensure to regularly review and update your listing criteria as needed to remain compliant with local regulations and business needs.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues while configuring the Global Listing Filters, consider the following:

1. Ensure that you have active or pending MLS listings. The module will not display if there are none.

2. Double-check your selection criteria for accuracy.
