Lead Import Reversal Timeframe Extension
This update extends the timeframe in which a CSV lead import can be reversed from 24 hours to three days. More information on how this feature works can be found here: Lead Import: Reverse Option.
New Team Admin/Owner Lead Privacy Option
The Team Admin/Owner can now change a lead from a team lead to a private lead without only being able to assign that lead to themselves. Prior to this update, if the Team Admin/Owner adjusted the lead privacy from team lead to private lead, the lead would be made private but assigned to them only. With this update, the lead will remain assigned to the person listed in the primary "Agent" slot in the "Assigned To" section.
This process can only be done one lead at a time, there is currently no option to do this in mass.
After changing the team lead to a private lead, the Team Admin/Owner will no longer have access to see that lead. For more information on lead privacy, see Lead Privacy: Team Leads vs. Private Leads.
Transaction Management Improvements
The following are the improvements that have been made to Lofty Transaction Management. For more information on how to use Transaction Management, please reference Transaction Management.
1. General Appearance Change. The overall appearance of the Transaction Management page has been changed slightly. Below are examples of the OLD and the updated version so you can see where things have moved.
(a) Selecting Transaction Type

(c) Selecting "Sort By" option

2. New Transaction Type: Lease. When adding a transaction in Lofty, you can now choose the option for "Lease" as a transaction type:
3. Customizable transaction stages.
For each transaction type, the default stages are the following:
PURCHASE | LISTING | LEASE | OTHER |
Pre-Contract Under Contract Pending Closed Cancelled |
Pre-Listing Active Listing Under Contract Pending Closed |
Active Under Contract Pending Closed |
Active In Progress Pending Closed |
A few important notes regarding transaction stages:
- The above stages are built-in, but you can rename/remove all of them besides "Closed" and "Cancelled" which are required
- In addition to "Closed" and "Cancelled," you are able to create up to 15 stages in total for each individual transaction type
To edit the transaction stages, click on the gear icon on the far-right side > select "Customize Transaction Stages." You can then add new stages, delete/rename the ones you do not want, and drag/drop to reorder.
If you add additional stages so that it cannot fit on the screen, you will need to scroll to the sides using these buttons:
4. Additional Built-In Date Fields. Previously, the only available date field for transactions was for "Expected Close" (or "Closed Date" if the status was closed). Now, however, the following fields are now available when adding/editing a transaction:
Each of these new date fields has a new column on the summary below that can be used to sort the transactions. Currently, no report or additional filtering can be done with these date fields, though future improvements will allow for these date fields to be connected to other features in Lofty.
Quick Search Block View Pattern Setting
*Only available on the New CMS
When adding Quick Search Links (see Quick Search Block), users can now select a specific "View Pattern" for each link. This will adjust how a lead views the listing pages when they click that specific quick search link, not how the quick search link displays.
Pocket Listings and Manual Address Support
*Only available on the New CMS
This update to the pocket listings feature allows for the input of an address without having to select from the populated suggestions. This is a field that appears when creating or editing a pocket listing via the New CMS Tool > Filters > Pocket Listings. This should auto-parse into the following format: [street address], [city], [state] [zip code] using the commas and spaces. We still recommend choosing from the address suggestions if available.
Renter Lead Identification
*Only available on the New CMS
Lofty now has the ability to automatically mark the lead type as "Renter" for new leads who register on rental listings on the IDX website.
