GSC allows Lofty to monitor your website's indexing status and provide data support for SEO optimization. Please be assured that Lofty will not make any unauthorized changes to your website and we do not have ownership of your website domain. Integrating your website with Lofty's Google Search Console account is a crucial step in enhancing your website's SEO performance.

Adding Your Site to Google Search Console

To effectively track and optimize your website's performance, Lofty will need to add your website to our public Google Search Console account. Once your site has been added, you will receive an email notification with the subject line New Owner Notice, that is letting you know that an email address with the format siteanalytics#number#@lofty.com has been added as an owner of your website in GSC. The primary goal of the GSC integration is overall SEO optimization. While immediate benefits may not be noticeable, having owner permissions allows Lofty to use the official GSC API to gain insights into your website's ranking and indexing status. Here are the key advantages:

• Issue Resolution: Lofty will prioritize fixing issues for websites with no traffic first, followed by optimizing overall traffic.
• Monitoring and Insights: Regular insights into your website's performance will help us identify and resolve indexing issues.
• Prompt Assistance: If you have already verified ownership in GSC, you may receive periodic emails about indexing issues. With access to your GSC account, Lofty can quickly assist in resolving or explaining these issues.

Control and Permissions

Lofty respects your control over your website. We will not make any changes to your website without your permission. If you prefer not to have Lofty has the owner of your website on Google Search Console, simply follow these steps to remove our account (siteanalytics#number#@lofty.com) from your GSC settings.

1. Log in to your Google Search Console account
2. Select your website
3. Navigate to the Settings section
4. Under Users and Permissions, locate Lofty's account: siteanalytics#number#@lofty.com
5. Remove the account by clicking the remove icon
