Sales Agent Call Functionality

Introduction

The AI Sales Agent proactively makes outbound phone calls to help engage leads and keep conversations moving. With outbound calling, AI Sales Agent can reach leads by phone when a real-time conversation is more effective and can also contact agents when approval or confirmation is needed.
 
Note: The Sales Agent does not answer inbound calls at this time.
 

What Can AI Sales Agent Call About?

AI Sales Agent currently supports outbound calls for two primary scenarios:

Calling Leads

AI Sales Agent can call leads to continue conversations, follow up on interest, and gather important information when a phone conversation may be more effective than text or email. This helps increase engagement during high-intent moments when immediate interaction matters most.

Calling Agents

When a lead requests an appointment, showing, or call that requires agent approval, AI Sales Agent can call the assigned agent to get confirmation. The appointment is not booked until the agent approves it. After the call, AI Sales Agent sends a follow-up summary with the outcome.

How It Works

  1. AI Sales Agent identifies a situation where a voice conversation may be beneficial.
  2. AI initiates an outbound call to the lead or assigned agent.
  3. The conversation is processed and summarized by AI.
  4. Call details become part of the lead's communication history for future reference.

Viewing Call History

All Sales Agent conversations are available within the lead conversation view. The conversation history includes communications across:

  • SMS
  • Email
  • Website Chat
  • Calls, including call summaries and recordings

This provides a complete timeline of interactions between the lead, the human agent, and AI Sales Agent in a single location.

Enable or Disable AI Calling

You can control whether AI Sales Agent places outbound calls.

To manage calling settings:

  1. Navigate to Sales Agent Settings.
  2. Select Edit Profile.
  3. Locate the Call setting.
  4. Turn calling on or off as needed.

Availability

AI Sales Agent Calling is available for:

  • Sales Agent Max package users
  • Team users on monthly plans of $150 or more

Other team plans may request access by contacting Support.
