With Lofty, you can control your Sales Agent directly by text message or in the web or mobile app, just like you would message a teammate. Instead of navigating through settings, simply send a message to your Sales Agent and it will understand and act on your instructions.
What Is “Command by Text/app chat”?
Commanding your Sales Agent allows you to:
- Send instructions in plain language
- Make changes instantly—no settings required
- Interact with your AI assistant in a more natural, conversational way
You can reply to a Daily Brief, text your Sales Agent, or open the chat panel in the web/mobile app at any time to give it instructions.
How It Works
Send a Message Command
There are two ways to interact with your Sales Agent:
- Reply to an existing message (like your Daily Brief)
- Start a new text or app chat with your Sales Agent anytime
Once you send a message, the Sales Agent will interpret your instruction and take action immediately.
Use Natural Language
You don’t need special commands or keywords. Simply type what you want, for example:
- “Stop following these leads”
- “Pause outreach for now”
- “Focus on buyers only”
Your Sales Agent is designed to understand conversational instructions and act on them.
What You Can Do by Message

The Sales Agent will carry out your request as soon as it receives your message.
Turn Briefs On or Off
You can control your Daily Brief notifications by text:

The change takes effect immediately—no need to open your settings.
Rename Your Sales Agent
You can personalize your Sales Agent’s identity by text:
- Example: “Call yourself Sophie from now on”
Your chosen name will be used in:
- Messages sent to leads
- Your CRM timeline
