Note: Lofty is rolling out in stages. Depending on the version your account is on, some features or screens described in this article may look different or may not yet be available to you.
Introduction
Smart Plans are Lofty's automation sequences — scheduled series of emails, texts, calls, and tasks that run against your leads without manual follow-up. The Smart Plans page shows your automation performance, a library of ready-made plans, your own plans, and an AI Copilot that can build a plan from a plain-language description.
Opening Smart Plans
- In the left menu, go to Automation → Smart Plans.
The page opens on the Overview tab, with Library and My Plans tabs beside it and Create From Scratch and Ask Lofty AI in the top-right corner.
Reading the Overview
The Overview tab summarizes your automation:
- The AI Copilot box invites you to “Describe what you want to automate -- AI will build the plan for you,” with suggested prompts such as Welcome series for new leads, Follow-up for expired listings, Hot lead fast-track smart plan, and Post-closing anniversary drip.
- Smart Plan Performance shows Total Enrollments, Active Enrollments, Lead Engaged, and Email Replied.
- Automation Gaps Detected flags coverage holes (for example, “Open House Attendees with No customized Follow-up”), each with a Generate with AI action.
- Learn More About Smart Plans links to a live training session and Quick Resources: User Guide, Video Tutorials, and Suggest a Feature.
Browsing the Library
Click the Library tab for Lofty's ready-made plans. Filter them with the Plan Type, Lead Type, and Scenario dropdowns to find a plan that fits your workflow.
Managing My Plans
Click the My Plans tab for the plans you've created or saved. Narrow the list with Auto Apply, Sort by (for example, Last Modified), and Scope (for example, My Plans).
Creating a Plan
Click Create From Scratch in the top-right corner to build a new plan. It offers 3 ways to start:
- Create Manually — build the sequence step by step.
- Create by AI — describe the plan and let Lofty AI draft it.
- Create from Template — start from a library plan.
Note: Each option opens its own plan builder. This article covers the Smart Plans overview and entry points; a separate article will walk through building a plan.
