Introduction
Building or choosing a Smart Plan is only half the job — it does nothing until it's running on a lead. You start and monitor a lead's plans from that lead's Automations tab, which shows every plan on them and exactly where each one stands.
Opening a Lead's Automations
- Open the lead from CRM → People.
- Click the Automations tab. It shows an All Automations panel.
Starting a Smart Plan on the Lead
Use the add (+) control at the top of the All Automations panel to apply a plan to this lead. Choose the plan you want, and it begins running — it then appears under Running Plans.
Tracking the Lead's Smart Plans
Scroll to the Smart Plans section. It groups the lead's plans by status:
- Running Plans — active right now. Each shows the plan name, its scope badge (My Plan or Company Plan), the Next Step and when it's due, and progress as Completed X/Y steps.
- Paused Plans — temporarily stopped. A plan can pause itself and show the reason — for example, a note that your 10DLC texting registration must be completed before the plan's text steps can run.
- Completed & Terminated Plans — plans that have finished or been ended, with their final completion count.
Other Automations on the Lead
The same tab also runs the lead's property and market automations — Market Snapshots, Market Reports, Homeowner Agent Report, and Seller Report — which you start with the New Snapshot / New Report links in each card.
Note: The scope badge tells you who owns the plan — My Plan is yours, Company Plan is shared across the team. A paused plan with a red note usually needs an account-level fix (such as 10DLC registration) before it can resume.
