Note: Lofty is rolling out in stages. Depending on the version your account is on, some features or screens described in this article may look different or may not yet be available to you.
Introduction
Lofty 4.0 puts everything behind one left sidebar: your AI workspace (Cowork), the modules you work in every day, and account-wide tools such as Search, Inbox, and the Dialer. This article maps the whole workspace — every sidebar entry, what each module expands into, and where notifications, help, and your account menu live — so you always know where you are.
Finding Your Way Around
The workspace has 3 standing regions:
- Left sidebar — the navigation hub. It is organized into 3 groups: workspace tools at the top (Cowork through Integration), the module group in the middle (CRM through Reporting), and account entries at the bottom (Success Center, Help, Settings, and your avatar).
- Page header — the bar across the top of the content area. It carries the page title plus that page’s own actions: on Cowork it holds Cowork Tools, + New Chat, and the Notifications bell; on CRM pages such as People it holds Actions and Ask Lofty AI.
- Content area — everything else; it changes with the page you open.
Note: Logging in lands you on Cowork, your AI workspace and home page. Clicking the Lofty logo in the top-left corner returns you there from anywhere. See Getting Started with Cowork for what the page itself can do.
Using the Top Sidebar Entries
The entries above the module group either open a page or slide out a panel:
| Entry | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cowork | Opens your AI workspace home page — the page you land on after login |
| AI Copilots | Opens the AI Copilots page |
| Search | Opens the global search overlay — search by name, phone, email, property, or note content, with People and Notes result tabs |
| Inbox | Slides out the Inbox panel next to the sidebar, with Inbox, AI, and Notifs tabs and unread counts |
| Dialer | Opens the full-screen Dialer workspace with Dial Pad and Ask Lofty AI tabs plus your Call List and History |
| Marketplace | Opens the Marketplace page |
| Integration | Opens the Integration page |
Tip: The search overlay lists its own shortcuts: ↑ ↓ to navigate results, ↵ to open one, and esc to close.
Note: A red dot on Inbox means unread messages. Panels close in different ways: press Escape to close the search overlay, click Inbox again to slide the Inbox panel back in, and click the × in the Dialer’s top-right corner to close the Dialer (Escape does not close it).
Expanding the Module Group
The middle of the sidebar lists Lofty’s modules. Click a module’s name to expand it and show its pages; expanding another module collapses the first, so one list is open at a time. Website is the exception — it has no submenu and instead opens the website CMS in a new browser tab.
When you open a page, the sidebar keeps you oriented: the module you are in expands on its own and the current page is highlighted — for example, opening People shows CRM expanded with People marked active.
Every module and the exact pages each one expands into:
| Module | Expands into |
|---|---|
| CRM | People, Segments, Tasks, Calendar |
| Sales | Listings, Showings, Offers, Transactions |
| Content Studio | Designs, Templates, Assets, Lofty Present, Open House Form |
| Marketing | Social, Campaigns, Lead Generation, Lofty Blast, Brand Awareness, Direct Mail, Email, Text |
| Automation | Smart Plans, Homeowner Agent, Auto Property Alert, Text Codes |
| Website | Opens the CMS (site builder) in a new tab |
| Reporting | Agent Accountability, Agent Activity, Communication, Business, Marketing |
Reaching Help, Settings, and Your Account
The bottom group of the sidebar covers everything outside day-to-day work:
- Success Center — opens the Lofty help site (help.lofty.com) in a new tab.
- Help — slides out the Get Help panel on the right, with Lofty Academy, Videos and Tutorials, Help Center, Lofty Updates, Suggest a Feature, User Community, My Tickets, Get Training, and Download the Mobile App (iOS and Android), plus the Support team’s phone number and Chat with Support.
- Settings — opens your account settings, starting on the Profile page. See Getting to Know Your Account for a tour.
- Your avatar — the picture at the very bottom opens your account menu: your name and email, then Add Account, Switch Account, Billing Center, Product Updates, Back Office, and Log Out.
Checking Notifications
Click the bell icon (Notifications) in the page header to open the Notifications panel. Notifications are grouped by type — for example Listing Promotion, Company Announcement, @Me, Task Reminder, Lead Alerts, Showing Assistant, Smart Plan, and Transaction — each with its own unread badge. The same panel is one of the 3 tabs (Notifs) in the Inbox slide-out.
Collapsing the Sidebar
- Click the Close Sidebar icon next to the Lofty logo. The sidebar shrinks to an icon-only rail, and every entry stays clickable as an icon.
- To bring the labels back, click an empty spot on the rail — the sidebar expands to full width again.
Tip: The collapsed state is not saved — the sidebar also returns to full width on its own the next time a page loads.
