1. Introduction Video
When you begin, you’ll be presented with a short introduction video.
This video provides:
- An overview of items to have ready
- What you’ll accomplish during setup
- Tips to move through the process efficiently
We recommend watching this before proceeding, so you understand the full journey.
2. Setup Experience Launches
After the introduction, the guided setup will automatically open.
This is your central checklist where:
- Each step is clearly outlined
- Progress is tracked
- New sections unlock as you complete earlier steps
3. Profile Setup
Your first actionable step is Profile Setup.
This section unlocks immediately and must be completed before moving forward.

In this stage, you’ll configure your marketing portfolio.

Marketing Profile - Select your position within your business and upload a headshot image that will be used to build your marketing profile.

Social Media - Link your social media accounts to Lofty to harness social posting features within the platform.
Completing this ensures your account is properly personalized.
4. Website Setup
Once your profile is complete, Agent Website Setup and the rest of your account setup become available.
Here, you’ll establish your online presence.
Agent Website Setup Steps

Set Your Website Prefix - To help you get started, we’ll create a free website that inherits your parent site’s content, MLS settings, and branding—saving you time on setup and paperwork. Just enter your preferred subdomain prefix (PREFIX.website.com)
- Connect MLS(s) - Verify your MLS membership to activate your site and unlock tools like property alerts, home valuations, and more. You will only be able to connect to the MLS(s) your account owner has connected at the company level. If you upgrade to a Full Agent Website, you will have the ability to apply to your own MLS(s)
5. Communication Setup
Next, configure how you connect with your audience.

Connect Email - Connecting your email to Lofty will allow you to (a) synchronize email communication between your email application and Lofty and (b) automatically parse third-party new lead information from emails into Lofty.

Connect Calendar - Manage your schedule in Lofty. Connect your calendars to ensure you never miss a meeting.
This ensures you can send and receive messages seamlessly.
6. Build Database Setup
Now it’s time to prepare your database.
