Welcome to Lofty and to your guided setup experience! This process is designed to help you quickly configure your account and unlock all core features of the platform. Follow along step-by-step to get fully up and running.
1. Introduction Video
When you begin, you’ll be presented with a short introduction video.
This video provides:
- An overview of items to have ready
- What you’ll accomplish during setup
- Tips to move through the process efficiently
We recommend watching this before proceeding, so you understand the full journey.
2. Setup Experience Launches
After the introduction, the guided setup will automatically open.
This is your central checklist where:
- Each step is clearly outlined
- Progress is tracked
- New sections unlock as you complete earlier steps
3. Profile Setup
Your first actionable step is Profile Setup.
This section unlocks immediately and must be completed before moving forward.
Profile Setup Steps
In this stage, you’ll configure your business and marketing portfolio.
- Business Profile - Complete your business profile by providing the business name and logo you use to promote and run your business.
2. Marketing Profile - Select your position within your business and upload a headshot image that will be used to build your marketing profile.
3. Social Media - Link your social media accounts to Lofty to harness social posting features within the platform.

Completing this ensures your account is properly personalized.
4. Website Setup
Once your profile is complete, Website Setup becomes available.
Here, you’ll establish your online presence.
Website Setup Steps
1. Choose a Website Template - Select a website template that will be used to populate your website. You can edit designs and content at any point in the future.
2. Provide Website Domain - Provide the website domain you use for your real estate business--the one you want connected to your Lofty platform. This information will be used to submit MLS applications. You will be prompted later to configure the domain at the right time.
3. Connect MLS(s) - Lofty connects to hundreds of MLS feeds in North America. Click the button below to start your MLS application(s). You will need your broker's name and contact information in order to submit.
5. Remaining Setup Unlocks and Full CRM Access
After completing the initial steps, the rest of the setup sections unlock.
At this point:
- You gain access to the full CRM by pressing “Explore Lofty” in the top right
- Additional configuration options become available
- You can begin managing contacts, communication, and workflows
6. Communication Setup
Next, configure how you connect with your audience.

Company Number - Your Lofty platform includes a "Company Number" which is a virtual number that is shared with all other users on your account. Choose a local area code to start. Learn more here: Company Number

Texting Approval - U.S. phone carriers require texts sent via platforms such as Lofty to be registered traffic only. Registering for A2P 10DLC is required to send texts via Lofty. Learn more here: A2P 10DLC - What It Is & Which Plan to Choose

Connect Email - Connecting your email to Lofty will allow you to (a) synchronize email communication between your email application and Lofty and (b) automatically parse third-party new lead information from emails into Lofty.

Connect Calendar - Manage your schedule in Lofty. Connect your calendars to ensure you never miss a meeting.
- Email Domain - Configure your email address domain to send automated and mass emails to promote your business. Learn More here: Sending Email Domain
This ensures you can send and receive messages seamlessly.
7. User Management Setup
If you’re working with a team, this step allows you to add and manage users.
You can:
- Send an invite link
- Send an invite via email
- Mass Import
8. Build Database Setup
Now it’s time to prepare your database.

11. Congratulations — You’re All Set!
Once all steps are complete, your setup is finished 🎉
You now have:
- A fully configured profile
- Website foundations
- Communication tools ready
- Users and permissions set
- A structured database
