Introduction
When a lead calls your Lofty virtual number, they have the option to leave a message on your voicemail box. This article show you how to personalize your voicemail greeting message and check your messages.
Note: When you configure your voicemail settings, these settings are on the personal level, not the phone number level. This means that if your lead calls you on either a personal virtual number or the company number, they will reach the same voicemail box.
Summary
Set up your Voicemail Greeting
Navigate to your Personal Settings page and select Communication > Call & Text > Voice Messages.
By default, an automated voice greeting message with a male voice will be enabled. If you would prefer the female voice, toggle the male default off and toggle the female default on.
Alternatively, you can record your own personalized voicemail greeting message. To do so, click Add to get started. You will be prompted to provide your cell phone number, or any number where you are able to receive a phone call. When you answer the call, instructions will tell you exactly what to do. The recording will save to your Inbound Call Voice Message Options.
Check your Voicemails
There are several places to check your voicemails.
(1) Navigate to the Dialer Pad and sort by Voice Messages. Note: The dialer pad is only available with some call packages.
(2) The voicemail can be accessed directly from a lead detail page Activity Timeline.
(3) Voice messages are available in the Workspace.
