Note: Lofty is rolling out in stages. Depending on the version your account is on, some features or screens described in this article may look different or may not yet be available to you.
Introduction
The Do Not Contact (DNC) list holds the phone numbers Lofty must never call or text. Keeping it current protects you from contacting people who've opted out — a compliance essential. Lofty checks this list before any call or text goes out.
Opening the Do Not Contact List
- Click the Settings gear in the left menu.
- Under Communication, click Call & Text.
- Open the Do Not Contact Settings tab.
The header shows the Do Not Contact List with a Total Count of numbers on it.
Reading the List
Each entry shows:
- Phone Number — the blocked number.
- DNC Type — how it's classified (for example, Internal DNC).
- Added Date — when it was added.
- Added By — who added it (System means Lofty added it automatically).
Use DNC Type to filter the list, and the Search for phone numbers box to find a specific number.
Keeping the List Current
You can maintain your DNC list manually here, or connect Lofty's integration with DNC.com to keep it in sync automatically — the page links to the integration for that purpose.
Warning: Contacting numbers on a do-not-call/do-not-text list can carry legal penalties. Keep this list current, and prefer the automated DNC.com sync where compliance requirements are strict.
