Note: Lofty is rolling out in stages. Depending on the version your account is on, some features or screens described in this article may look different or may not yet be available to you.
Introduction
The Social Agent is Lofty's AI copilot for social media. It helps you plan, create, and schedule posts — including posts built from your listings — so your social presence stays active without much manual effort.
Opening the Social Agent
- In the left menu, click AI Copilots.
- On the Social Agent tile, click Launch (it opens in a new tab). It also lives under Marketing → Social.
The workspace opens on the Planner tab, with Posts and Listing Feed tabs beside it, and Create a Post and Ask Lofty AI in the top-right corner.
Understanding the Tabs
- Today — your calendar of upcoming posts and impressions from the last week.
- Posts — the posts you've created.
- Topics — what your Social Agent writes about.
- Brand — your social media profiles, posting instructions, and guardrails.
Social Agent Plans: Free, Pro, and Max
Social Agent has three plans, Free, Pro and Max, and each one includes a monthly number of posts. Every plan gets every topic and every social channel. The difference is how many posts Social Agent can publish for you each month. Posts you write and publish yourself are never counted against your quota.
Compare plans
| Free | Pro | Max | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | $0 | $29.99/month | $79.99/month |
| Posts per month | 10 | 100 | 300 |
| Extra posts | Not available | Not available | $20 for 100 more, renews monthly |
| All topics and Publishes on its own | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Boost (one-time charge, no posts used) | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Custom Topics | No | No | Yes |
| Listing videos | Short version (about 15 seconds), uses 10 posts each | Full-length, uses 20 posts each | Full-length, uses 20 posts each |
| Social profiles | No limit | No limit | No limit |
What counts as a post
One post is one piece of content Social Agent made, published to one social profile. If the same post goes to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, it uses 3 posts.
| Uses posts | Doesn't use posts |
|---|---|
| Topic posts, recommended posts and AI Writer drafts, once they publish | Posts you write and publish yourself |
| Each profile a post publishes to successfully | A channel that failed to publish |
| Creating a listing video: 20 posts (10 for the Free short version) | Regenerating, editing, deleting or expired drafts |
Where to see your posts
- Top bar: next to Subscription, a usage bar shows how many posts you've used, for example "212 / 300 posts." It changes color at 80% and when you run out. Your plan badge (FREE, PRO or MAX) sits beside it.
- Post history: click the usage bar to see posts left, when they reset, and a line for every post used or added.
- In the editor: under the main button you'll see how many posts this one will use, for example "Uses 3 posts · 97 left this month." It updates as you add or remove channels.
- Subscription: shows your plan and what it includes. Usage appears in the top bar only.
Good to know
- Your posts reset to the full amount on the 1st of each month. Unused posts don't carry over.
- You're never charged automatically. When you run out, publishing pauses until the 1st or until you upgrade.
- Upgrading mid-month gives you the full new amount right away. You pay a prorated difference for the rest of your billing period.
- Extra posts are available on Max only. They renew with your plan and end when your plan ends, so there's nothing separate to cancel.
- On Free, drafts are created when you open Today. Pro and Max get the next cycle drafted in advance.
- If you cancel or downgrade (for example, Max to Pro), any posts above the new plan's monthly amount are removed. For example, 250 posts left on Max becomes 100 on Pro; 50 left stays 50.
