Global Listing Filters (Lofty AOS)

Introduction

Some MLSs cover multiple states or large regions — far beyond the areas you actually serve. The Global Listing Filters feature lets you limit which listings appear on your website, in your CRM's Listings tab, and in Property Alerts to only the geographic area or offices you work with.

This helps you stay compliant with local regulations and gives your clients a more relevant browsing experience.

Before You Begin

• Global Listing Filters are only available when you have at least one active or pending MLS connected to your website.
• The Edit button for Total Listings will not appear if there are no MLSs connected.

How to Configure Global Listing Filters

1. From the Lofty top nav, click Content > Website.
2. In the Site List, click your site to open the CMS.
3. Navigate to Listings > MLS Integration.
4. Look for the Total Listings section in the upper-right area. Click the Edit button.
5. In the selection window, specify the Office and/or State you want to include.
6. The Total Listings count at the top updates to show how many listings match your selection.
7. Save your settings.

What the Filter Controls

Listings excluded from your selection will be removed from:

• Your website — visitors won't see those listings in search results
• Your CRM Listings tab — those listings won't appear when you browse listings internally
• Property Alerts — excluded listings won't be sent to leads via automated alerts
• Google search — excluded listings will not be accessible via Google

Tips

• Start broad, then narrow. If you're not sure which offices or states to include, start with your primary market and adjust as needed after reviewing the listing count.
• Review filters when your MLS data changes. If your MLS expands coverage or you add a new MLS, revisit your Global Listing Filters to make sure excluded areas are still appropriate.
• Use alongside Listing Filter Basics for granular per-page or per-block control. Global Listing Filters exclude listings site-wide; Listing Filter Basics control display within specific pages and blocks. See [Listing Filter Basics].

Troubleshooting

I can't find the Edit button for Total Listings. The Edit button only appears when you have at least one active or pending MLS application. If you don't see it, confirm your MLS application has been submitted.

I applied filters but the listing count seems wrong. If no filters are applied, Total Listings shows the count for all connected MLSs including pending ones. When filters are applied, the count reflects only listings matching your selection criteria.
