Adding and Managing Website Pages (Lofty AOS)

Introduction

Every page on your Lofty website starts from a page template — a pre-built layout designed for a specific purpose, like showcasing listings, collecting seller leads, or displaying your team. You choose the template, configure the page settings, and then customize the content using the block editor.

New pages are added to the Hidden Navigation by default, so you control when and where they appear on your live site.

Before You Begin

• Adding and editing pages requires access to the Website CMS. Open it from the Lofty top nav: Content > Websites, then click your site.
• Full SEO websites have access to the complete range of page types and settings. Agents on basic Agent Websites have more limited options.
• Page names have a 50-character maximum.
• All newly added pages go to the Hidden Navigation by default and will not appear on your site's menu until you manually move them.

Adding a New Page

Step 1: Open the Pages panel

1. In the CMS page editor, click Pages in the left navigation.
2. Click + Add Page.

Step 2: Choose a page template

Select the page template that matches what you want to create. Each template comes with a pre-built block layout designed for that page type.

Step 3: Configure Basic Settings

After choosing your template, fill in the page settings:

Page Name — The name shown in the CMS and on your site navigation. Maximum 50 characters.

Page Template — Confirms the template you selected. Click Change it to go back and pick a different one.

URL — The web address for this page (for example, /about or /listings-miami). Keep URLs short and descriptive.

Open Style — Choose whether clicking this page's link opens in the Current Page or a New Page (new browser tab).

Display Style — Set whether this page is shown on desktop, mobile, or both.

Page Style — Toggle the page header and footer on or off for this specific page.

Step 4: Configure Page SEO (optional but recommended)

Set this page's search engine metadata:

• Meta Title — The title that appears in search engine results (recommended: 50–60 characters).
• Meta Keywords — Keywords relevant to this page.
• Meta Description — A short summary shown in search results (recommended: 140–160 characters).
• SNS Cover Photo — The image displayed when someone shares this page's link on social media.

Variables (merge fields) are supported in these fields — as CMS data changes, meta fields can update automatically.

Step 5: Configure Neighborhood Data (Neighborhood Detail pages only)

If you selected the Neighborhood Detail template, a third section will appear. Fill in the neighborhood-specific data — area name, description, and map boundaries — that will populate this page.

Step 6: Save

Click Save to create the page. It will appear in the Hidden Navigation section of your Pages panel.

Editing a Page

To edit a page's content (blocks):

1. In the Pages panel, find the page you want to edit.
2. Click the Edit icon on that page row.
3. The block editor opens for that page. Add, remove, or rearrange blocks to customize the layout. See [Add / Remove / Edit Blocks on Pages] for full instructions.

To edit a page's settings (name, URL, SEO):

1. In the Pages panel, click the Settings icon (or the ... menu) on the page row.
2. Update the settings and click Save.

Tips

• Add pages before building navigation. Create all the pages you need first, then organize them in the Navigation Bar. It's easier than building page-by-page and updating the nav each time.
• Use Blank pages for custom layouts. If none of the templates match what you need, start with the Blank template and build it with blocks from scratch.
• Preview before publishing. After adding and editing a page, use the preview panel to check how it looks before publishing.
• Page names vs. nav labels. The page name you set here also appears in the navigation by default, but you can rename it in the Navigation Bar separately if needed.

Troubleshooting

I added a page but it doesn't appear on my website. New pages go to the Hidden Navigation by default. Move it to the Displayed Navigation in the Navigation Bar editor, then click Publish. See [Editing Your Website Navigation Bar].

I can't find the page template I need. Browse all templates in the template selection screen. If you need a fully custom page, use the Blank template and build it using blocks.

My page URL is already in use. Each page on your site must have a unique URL. Try adding a suffix (for example, /about-us-team instead of /about).

The Neighborhood Data section isn't appearing. This section only appears when you select the Neighborhood Detail page template. If you chose a different template and need neighborhood data, you will need to create a new page with the correct template.

Can I duplicate an existing page?

What happens to a page when I delete it? Deleting a page permanently removes it, including its URL and any content. This cannot be undone. If you want to keep the page but remove it from the menu, move it to Hidden Navigation instead.
