Introduction
The main purpose of any CRM is to provide organization above and beyond what can be done with a typical spreadsheet or contact list. In Lofty, this mainly happens on the People Page and consists of Pipelines, Segments, Tags, and a variety of filters. This article will introduce how to use the available filters.
Summary
- Saved Filters
- Filter by Address
- All Filters
Saved Filters
To access saved filters, navigate to the People Page and click on Saved Filters. There are three different types of saved filters:
- Default Filters
- Team Filters
- Private Filters
OLD UI
Default Filters
It includes the following pre-built filters, which are available to everyone on the account. The criteria for these filters are preconfigured, so you cannot edit them.
-
- Today's Opportunities (see Opportunities)
- Today's New Leads
- Not Contacted
- Need to Touch
- Private Leads (see Lead Privacy: Team Leads vs. Private Leads)
- Team Leads (see Lead Privacy: Team Leads vs. Private Leads)
Three of these are also displayed right below Saved Filters:

NEW UI
Team Filters
Everyone on the team can access these filters but only the Team Owner/Admin or another user with the "Manage Team" permission (see Team Permissions) can add/edit them.
To add a saved filter to this category, apply the criteria and save the filter.

NEW UI
Then, check the box to Share With Team:
Private Filters
Similar to Team Filters but these are only accessible to you as the one who created them. Add your criteria, save the filter, and ensure the Share With Team box is not checked.
Filter by Address
Use this search field to search for addresses associated with any of the leads. This will search the mailing address, property addresses, etc. as recorded on a lead profile page.

NEW UI
All Filters
First of all, you will notice that some of the filters are displayed right on the left menu. This is to provide easy access to common filters that are utilized in the system. To see all filters, simply click on the Advanced Filter button at the bottom-left.
OLD UI | NEW UI |
The following are the five main categories where the filters are saved. Each is outlined below with the corresponding filters.
- Agent
- Lead details
- Lead Nurturing
- Lead Activity
- Custom Fields
(1) Agent or Lead Pond
This section contains a filter for each role that is set up on the team (see Creating Custom Roles and Assigning Leads to Custom Roles). When an agent/user is searched in any of these role fields, it is an AND relationship meaning if you were to search for specific users in each role then the leads populated will have to have that same assignee assignment in each lead record.
OLD UI |
NEW UI If you are using the new People Page UI, you can also filter by Lead Pond. |
(2) Lead Details
Each of the filters for this section is outlined individually below.
NEW UI

Opportunities
The following options are available:
- High Interest
- Back to Site
- Back on Market

For more information on Opportunities, see HERE.
Source
The source of the lead is where the lead came from before it entered the Lofty CRM. Reference Lead Source Logic for more information. Multiple sources can be selected at the same time with this filter.
A source is recorded in the lead profile here:
Tags
The "Tags" filter has support for the following four combinations. You can also combine the "include" and "exclude" options.
---
(a) Include + One of + [tag]. Shows leads that contain any of the indicated tags.
Example: Include + One of + [A] + [B]. Shows leads that have tag "A" or tag "B."
---
(b) Include + All + [tag]. Show leads that contain the specific combination of tags used together.
Example: Include + All + [A] + [B]. Shows all leads that have tag "A" and tag "B."
---
(c) Exclude + One of + [tag]. Show leads that do not contain any of the indicated tags.
Example: Exclude + One of + [A] + [B]. Shows leads without either tag "A" or tag "B."
---
(d) Exclude + All + [tag]. Show leads that do not contain ONLY one specific tag.
Example: Exclude + All + [A] + [B]. Shows leads without both tag "A" and tag "B."
---
Reg Date
The "Reg Date" is the date that the lead entered into the Lofty CRM. This is an extremely useful filter to use when trying to narrow down leads that entered the database during a specific date range, today, yesterday, etc. Pre-built options can be selected or a custom date range can be selected.
Lead Score
Use this filter to find leads that fit within a specific lead score range. More information regarding lead score can be found here: Lead Score and Lead Analysis.
Price
The "Price" filter will filter leads and display those with their Search Criteria/Inquiry price data matching the indicated amount. For example, if the price range is 100k-200k and there is a lead with Search Criteria/Inquiries that are listed in their profile as 50k-150k, the lead will appear in this search because it falls within the range.
Min Bathrooms
This will pull from a lead's search criteria and requires a manual search input.
Min Bedrooms
This will pull from a lead's search criteria and requires a manual search input.
Property Type
This will pull from a lead's search criteria with a set amount of searchable options.
Profile Details
This filter includes fields such as whether they have a mailing address, birthday month, and questionnaire answers. The questionnaire consists of the questions that the lead will respond to when registering on a Lofty IDX website. See HERE for more information.
*NOTE: For the birthday filter, if a lead has family members (see here) with birthdays documented, they will not display when filtering by birthday--only the primary lead will surface when using the birthday filter.
Close Date
This is a filter that allows you to search leads with closed dates; including a range of closed dates. If a lead has no transactions, they will not display. See Transaction Management for more information.
Contact Info
Search for leads with/without a phone number or email address based on whether they have had emails opened or bounced. There is also a filter for email opt-in status.
Undelivered Text Date
If you would like to find leads where texts have been sent but not delivered, you can search using this field with either the pre-populated fields or by selecting the option for a "Custom Date Range."
(3) Lead Nurturing
NEW UI
Smart Plan
Search by a specific Smart Plan or whether a lead has any Smart Plans as Active/Inactive or does not have a Smart Plan assigned. Learn more about Smart Plans HERE.
Market Report
Use this filter to find leads that either do or do not have a Market Report set up.
Property Alert
Use this filter to find leads that either do or do not have a Property Alert set up for them. Please note that currently, leads with an auto property alert set up will also be included in the "With Property Alert" results, even if there are no valid Search Criteria on that lead that would trigger that auto alert to send.
Subscription
Use this filter to search by subscription status to Smart Plans, Market Reports, or Property Alerts. The options for each of these are "Subscribed" or "Unsubscribed." You can also see the following for more information on this topic: Email Subscription Status.
(4) Lead Activity

NEW UI
Last Touch
Use this filter to search for leads who were or were not contacted. The options include all contact methods, including both automatic and manual communication. The last touch can also be sorted by period, either by the pre-selected time intervals in the drop-down menu or by selecting Customized Time to enter a specific number of days.
Note: This differs from the Last Touch column, which gives you the option to sort by your last manual touch OR all contact methods.
OLD UI | NEW UI |
Last Website Visit
Synchronizes with the last website visit under the Insight section of a lead profile that displays here:
Last Reply
