The SEO Checklist is in a separate tab in the CMS, next to Settings. This feature will help you maximize your site SEO with the help of the simple checklist.

The SEO Checklist is only available if you have a full Lofty website. It is not available to subdomain sites.

The SEO Checklist provides the steps you need to complete to optimize your website's SEO. Click the arrow next to each step to see why this step is important and how to optimize this step.

Connect Website Domain

The website domain is a fundamental and crucial step for SEO. If the domain has already been connected, this step will be done. If the domain has not been configured, this section will show you how to complete the configuration and allow you to purchase a domain from Lofty.

Set Homepage Meta Data

A meta description helps potential visitors learn more about your site before they visit. The text you enter here will synchronize to the pages of your site to help you rank higher in SEO. Lofty will automatically check if the meta title and description contain keywords. Once the entered content meets the detection criteria, the task is marked as completed. The Google search preview is visible to the right of the settings.

Include keyword-rich text on your homepage

Here, the SEO tool advises what to add to the website's homepage. You can use Lofty's AI to generate optimized homepage content. Click Apply to automatically send the generated text to your website. Click Verify to verify that it matches the text requirements. 

Connect to Google Search Console

Connecting to Google Search Console will help the website index faster, fix issues, and identify keywords that drive traffic.

Setup Google Business Profile

Connecting to your Google Business Profile will enhance the website's local SEO visibility and improve chances of appearing in local Google searches.

Link Website to Social Profiles

Linking the website to social media will help with exposure and credibility.

Add Featured Areas

We recommend adding at least one featured area to optimize SEO. Any existing featured areas that have been added to the website will be synchronized here. Click Add to navigate directly to the Featured Areas section in the CMS. Click Verify to let the checklist know you have added a featured area.

Page Report

Lofty provides page traffic rankings for your website, listing the top 100 pages with the highest traffic. Here, you can view the keywords associated with these pages and track your traffic trends.
