Note: Lofty is rolling out in stages. Depending on the version your account is on, some features or screens described in this article may look different or may not yet be available to you.
Introduction
The Templates page is Content Studio’s template gallery: Lofty’s ready-made postcard, email, and newsletter designs, your own saved templates, your marketing videos, and your email template folders — all in one place. Start here when you want to build marketing content from a professionally designed starting point instead of a blank canvas.
Opening Templates
- In the left menu, go to Content Studio → Templates.
The page opens on the Lofty Designs tab, with My Templates, Video Library, and Email tabs beside it, and the Create and Ask Lofty AI buttons in the header.
Browsing Lofty Designs
The Lofty Designs tab is Lofty’s library of ready-made templates, shown as thumbnail cards with a name and date:
- Filter chips narrow the gallery by type: All, Postcard, Email, or Newsletters.
- The Search box finds a template by name.
- All Filters opens the full category filter: All, Halloween, Fourth of July, Valentines, New Year, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Season To Sell, Opportunity Is Knocking, Testimonials, Just Listed, Just Sold, Holidays, Home Valuation, Agent Intro, I Have Buyers, Report, Business Card, Birthday, Home Anniversary, Open House, Expired Listing, Mortgage, Price Reduction, Low Inventory, Short Sale & Foreclosure, Cash Payer, Absentee Homeowners, School District, Rental, and Community.
- The pager at the bottom steps through the gallery 20 templates at a time; type a page number in the Go box to jump.
Previewing and Editing a Template
Hover over a template card to reveal 2 icon buttons — a pencil (edit) and an eye (preview):
- Click the eye icon to open a full-size preview of the template; a postcard preview includes both of its pages (1 and 2).
- Press Esc (or click outside the preview) to close it — nothing is saved.
Clicking the pencil icon opens the template in the full-page design editor. The editor replaces the left menu: Back returns to Templates, the toolbar shows the template name, the page selector, undo and redo, More, Print, and the zoom level, and the AI Print Editor panel on the right offers “Ask AI anything...” to change text, font sizes, or colors.
Note: Leaving the editor with Back without saving adds nothing to your libraries — My Designs on the Designs page and My Templates stay unchanged.
Managing My Templates
The My Templates tab holds templates you have saved, with the same All, Postcard, Email, and Newsletters chips and Search box. Before you save anything, the tab shows a “No Design” empty state.
Working with the Video Library
The Video Library tab lists your marketing videos, sorted by Last Modified, each with a thumbnail, name, and date. Hover over a video and click More (…) to open its menu: Edit Name, Download, Share to Social, and Delete.
Caution: Delete in a video’s More menu removes the video — there is no confirmation step documented here, so review before using it.
Organizing Email Templates
The Email tab stores email templates in folders, sorted by Last Modified:
- Each folder card shows its name, file count, and last-modified date (the account starts with a Root folder).
- Click a folder to open it: the folder name becomes the page title with a Back button, plus a Search... box and a Select Multiple button, and each template row shows its preview, name, date, and a More menu.
To add a folder:
- On the Email tab, click Add Folder.
- In the Add A Folder dialog, type a name in Folder Name (the placeholder is “Enter Folder Name...”).
- Click Save.
