Note: Lofty is rolling out in stages. Depending on the version your account is on, some features or screens described in this article may look different or may not yet be available to you.
Introduction
Lofty includes a suite of built-in SEO tools that support your website's visibility in traditional search engines like Google and Bing, as well as AI-powered discovery tools. This article walks through the main SEO capabilities available in Lofty and where to find them.
For the full SEO Tool guide (SEO Setup score, AEO, and Indexing), see [Using the SEO Tool].
SEO Setup and Initial Configuration
Navigate to: CMS > select your website > SEO
The SEO settings let you configure: - Your business or brand name - Your service location - Targeted keywords for your market - Google Business Profile connection - Sitemap submission to Google Search Console - On-page SEO assessments
Custom Domain
Navigate to: CMS > Settings > Basic Info > Domain
Connecting a custom domain that includes your brand name or relevant keywords strengthens your SEO authority and creates a professional, trustworthy web address for visitors.
See [Domain Configuration Guide] for full setup instructions.
Google Business Profile Integration
Navigate to: CMS > Settings > Tools > Integrations
Connecting your Google Business Profile lets you view your business information and monitor reviews from one dashboard. Keeping your Google Business Profile accurate and active is one of the highest-impact local SEO actions available to real estate professionals.
See [Google My Business, Zillow, and RateMyAgent Reviews Integration] for setup details.
Content: Blog
Lofty's built-in blog editor supports text, images, videos, and embedded code — with SEO settings (meta title, description, keywords) configurable per post. The built-in RSS aggregator keeps your site fresh with industry content automatically.
See [Creating and Publishing Blog Posts] for the full guide, including the AI Blog Assistant.
Content: Featured Area Pages
Navigate to: CMS > Areas tab > + Add New Area/Neighborhood
Featured Area pages are dedicated neighborhood pages optimized for local search — one of the most effective SEO tactics for real estate websites. Each area gets its own URL, content, and search engine presence.
See [Featured Areas Block] for configuration details.
Social Proof: Reviews
The Reviews Block integrates with Google My Business, Zillow, and RateMyAgent to display client reviews on your website. Fresh review content signals relevance to search engines and builds trust with site visitors.
See [Reviews Block] and [Google My Business, Zillow, and RateMyAgent Reviews Integration].
Social Media: Content Sharing
Navigate to: Marketing > Tools > Social Studio
Consistent social media content generates backlinks and social signals that contribute to domain authority over time. Social Studio lets you schedule and manage posts across platforms from one place.
See [Social Studio] for full details.
Performance Monitoring
Built-in site audits: The SEO Tool identifies issues like missing meta descriptions, on-page SEO gaps, and mobile performance problems. See [Using the SEO Tool].
Google Search Console: Lofty monitors your site's indexing status via GSC. See [SEO Optimization and Google Search Console Integration].
Page speed: Lofty websites are optimized for speed — a factor in both user experience and search rankings. Test your site at Google PageSpeed Insights.
Tips
- SEO is cumulative, not instant. Changes you make today may not show in search rankings for weeks. Start with your SEO Setup score, configure your domain, and add Featured Area pages — these have the highest long-term impact.
- Fresh content matters. Even one blog post per week adds up significantly over time. Use the AI Blog Assistant to speed up content creation.
- Local is your competitive advantage. Featured Area pages and Google Business Profile optimization are where real estate SEO differs most from other industries — prioritize these.
