Introduction
The Video Block embeds video content directly on any page of your website. Use it for agent introduction videos, property walkthroughs, neighborhood tours, or market update content.
Adding the Video Block
- Open the Website CMS (from Lofty top nav: Content > Websites, then click your site).
- Select the page you want to edit.
- Click Blocks in the left navigation.
- Find the Video block type and choose your preferred style.

Drag the block to the position you want on the page.
Configuring the Video Block
Double-click the block or click the Edit icon to open settings.
Video Source : - Embed URL (YouTube, Vimeo, or other platform link) - Direct video file upload
Display Settings : - Autoplay on/off - Loop on/off - Mute on/off - Display controls (play/pause bar) - Block size and aspect ratio
After configuring, click Publish to go live.
Tips
- Host videos on YouTube or Vimeo, then embed. Self-hosted videos can slow your site. Using a video platform for hosting keeps your site fast while still displaying video natively.
- Add captions when possible. Many visitors watch videos with the sound off. Captions make your content accessible and more effective.
- Keep videos under 2 minutes. Attention spans are short — lead with the most important content in the first 30 seconds.
Troubleshooting
The video isn't playing. Check that the embed URL is correct and publicly accessible. If using a YouTube link, make sure the video is not set to private.
