Note: Lofty is rolling out in stages. Depending on the version your account is on, some features or screens described in this article may look different or may not yet be available to you.
Introduction
The Group Block displays profiles for your offices, teams, or regions directly on a page of your Company Website. Use it to let site visitors explore your organizational structure — clicking a group profile takes them to that group's dedicated page.
Company Website only. The Group Block is exclusive to the Company Website. It is not available on Team, Office, or Agent sites.
Before You Begin
Groups must be configured in your CRM's organizational hierarchy before they appear in this block. If your offices or teams aren't set up yet, see [Organizational Hierarchy in Lofty].
To control which groups display in the block, go to Settings > Company Info > Offices in the CMS and toggle each group on or off.
Adding the Group Block
- Open the Website CMS (from Lofty top nav: Content > Websites, then click your Company site).
- Select the page you want to edit from the Pages panel.
- Click Blocks in the left navigation to open the block library.
- Scroll down to find the Group block type. Choose your preferred style.
-
Drag the block to the position you want on the page canvas.
Configuring the Group Block
Editing block appearance
-
Double-click the block or click the Edit icon in the top-right corner to open the style settings.
- Adjust the block's visual style and layout options.
- Click Publish to apply changes to your live site.
Controlling which groups display
To manage which offices, teams, or regions appear in the block:
- In the CMS, go to Settings > Company Info > Offices.
- Find each group you want to manage.
- Toggle on to show the group in the block, or toggle off to hide it.
This setting applies wherever the Group Block is used across your Company Website — it is not page-specific.
Tips
- Only show relevant groups. If your hierarchy includes internal administrative groups not relevant to site visitors, toggle those off to keep the block clean.
- Pair with the Agent Block. Use the Group Block on your main page to let visitors find their regional team, then link to pages that use the Agent Block to show individual agents within each group.
Troubleshooting
A group I expect to see isn't appearing in the block. Check that the group is toggled on in Settings > Company Info > Offices. Also confirm the group exists in your CRM's organizational hierarchy.
The Group Block option doesn't appear in my block library. This block is only available on the Company Website. If you are editing a Team, Office, or Agent site, the Group Block will not appear.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I show only certain offices on specific pages? The group display toggle in Settings applies site-wide — you cannot show different groups on different pages using the same block.
Can agents see the Group Block on their sites? No. The Group Block is only available on the Company Website.
