Introduction
If you are moving your phone numbers from Follow Up Boss (FUB) to Lofty, the process is streamlined because both platforms use Twilio as their phone service provider. This is referred to as a "Twilio to Twilio internal transfer."
What You Need to Provide
To begin the porting process, please provide the following information to your Lofty onboarding specialist or support contact:
FUB Twilio Account SID:
The unique identifier for your FUB Twilio account (your onboarding specialist can help you obtain this if needed).Phone Numbers to Port:
List all phone numbers you wish to move, in E164 format (e.g., +12134773317).Country:
Indicate whether each number is a US or Canadian number.Assignment Details: (to be collected by the assisting Lofty point of contact)
Let us know how you want each number assigned after porting. What Happens Next
Lofty Support Submits the Request:
Lofty’s support team will submit a porting request to Twilio, referencing your FUB account and the numbers you want to move.Twilio Approval:
Twilio will contact FUB (the current account holder) for approval. Once approved, Twilio will transfer the numbers to Lofty’s Twilio account.Assignment in Lofty:
After the transfer is complete, Lofty will assign the numbers as you requested (personal, team, or AI numbers).Reconfigure Messaging Campaigns:
You will need to reconfigure your brand and messaging campaigns in Lofty’s 10DLC system after the port is complete.
How Long Does It Take?
The porting process typically takes at least 1 week from the time all information is submitted and approvals are received.
