Note: Lofty is rolling out in stages. Depending on the version your account is on, some features or screens described in this article may look different or may not yet be available to you.
Introduction
Account & Security is where you control how you sign in and how your account is protected — your login email, your password, and two-factor authentication (2FA). Tightening these settings is the single best way to keep your leads and client data safe.
Opening Account & Security
- Click the Settings gear in the left menu.
- Under My User Settings, click Account & Security.
Your Lofty Account
The Lofty Account section shows the email address you use to log in, which also receives system email notifications. Use the edit control next to it to change your login email.
Changing Your Password
Next to Password, click Change Password to set a new one.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
2FA adds a second step at sign-in, so a password alone isn't enough to get into your account.
- Login → Require Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) — turn on 2FA for your own login.
- Login → Require Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for all company members — an admin control that enforces 2FA account-wide.
- Sensitive Actions → Require Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) — require a second factor before high-risk actions, not just at login.
2FA Verification Methods
Under the 2FA settings, the list of methods shows where verification codes can be sent — your email and any phone numbers you've added. Manage these so you always have a working way to receive codes.
Warning: For your protection, always set your own password and 2FA yourself — never share codes or let anyone else change these settings on your behalf.
