Note: Lofty is rolling out in stages. Depending on the version your account is on, some features or screens described in this article may look different or may not yet be available to you.
Introduction
Direct Mail sends physical postcards and letters to your leads without leaving Lofty — just-listed announcements, market updates, or a geographic farming campaign — and tracks delivery and engagement back to the CRM. Mailers are paid for with mail credits.
Before You Start
- Credits — the Direct Mail dashboard shows your Remaining Balance. If it's low, use Add Credits before building a campaign.
- Return address — set your sender details under Personal Info so mailers are compliant and returnable.
Opening the Print Mailers Wizard
- In the left menu, go to Marketing → Direct Mail.
- Click Print Mailers. The wizard opens with four steps down the left side.
Step 1 — Select Mailer Type
Choose what you want to send:
- Postcard
- Letter
Then click Next.
Step 2 — Select Design
Pick a template, then customize it:
- Front Design and Back Design — edit each side of the piece.
- Set Up Tracking — add response tracking so you can measure engagement.
Step 3 — Set Up Recipients
Choose who receives the mailer — for example, a segment of leads or a geographic list.
Step 4 — Review Order
Review the mailer, recipient count, print date, and credit cost, then submit the order.
Tracking Your Results
Back on the Direct Mail dashboard, Your Engagement shows Total Sent, Total Delivered, and Engaged Leads. Your campaigns are listed under the One-Time and Monthly Plan tabs so you can compare performance over time.
Note: A Monthly Plan campaign sends on a recurring schedule, while a One-Time campaign sends once — useful for a single just-listed blast versus an ongoing farming program.
