Introduction
The Direct Mail page (also called the Print Center) manages printed postcard marketing: one-time mailers such as “Just Listed” postcards and recurring monthly farming plans. It tracks how many mailers were sent and delivered, holds your postcard credit balance, and lists every campaign with the action each one needs next — approval, design work, or a results report.
Opening Direct Mail
- In the left menu, go to Marketing → Direct Mail.
The page opens with the header Direct Mail and 2 view buttons in the top-right corner — Print Mailers (the main view) and Personal Info — next to Ask Lofty AI.
Reading the Print Mailers Dashboard
The top of the Print Mailers view holds:
- A promo card (for example, JUST LISTED — “Capture attention and generate buzz for your newly listed properties…”) with a Send Postcard button that starts a new postcard campaign.
- Your Engagement — running totals for Total Sent, Total Delivered, and Engaged Leads.
- Remaining Balance — your postcard credit balance (for example, “0 Credit”), an ADD CREDITS button, and a View Details link that opens the DETAILS dialog listing each credit transaction by Date, Amount, Remaining Balance, and Action.
- Monthly Campaign Reminder — the next Scheduled Print Date, Campaign Status, and Scheduled Amount for your monthly plan (each shows “N/A” when no plan is active).
Warning: Send Postcard begins a new paid campaign and ADD CREDITS opens a credit purchase — postcard campaigns bill against your credit balance. Only continue if you intend to order mail.
Working the Campaign List
Below the dashboard, the campaign list has 2 tabs. The One-Time tab lists single-run campaigns with columns Campaign, Status, Total Sent, Engaged Leads, and Action. Each row is named like “Campaign/18278/20260514” with its “Created on” date, and the Status decides the row's action:
| Status | Meaning | Action button |
|---|---|---|
| Finished | The mailing completed | View Report |
| Not Approve | Flagged “Campaign not approved yet” — waiting on your approval | Approve |
| Pending | Flagged “Click to customize design” — design work remains | Edit Design |
The Monthly Plan tab lists recurring farming plans with Plan Name, Status, and Action columns; cancelled plans show Cancelled with an Update Plan Settings action.
Warning: Approve is the final go-ahead for a paid mailing — the campaign prints and bills after approval. Review the design and recipients before you approve anything.
Viewing a Campaign Report
- In the One-Time tab, find a campaign with the Finished status.
- Click View Report on its row.
The report opens in place with a Back link and shows the campaign name, its status, and a “Last Updated Time,” followed by:
- Result tiles — Total Sent, Delivered, Engaged Leads, and New Leads.
- Delivery Report — a per-recipient table (Lead Name, Mailing Address, Status, such as “Delivered”) with a Download button.
- Recent Activities — engagement events for the campaign.
Editing a Pending Design
Click Edit Design on a Pending campaign to open the postcard design editor:
- The toolbar offers Undo/Redo, Preview, Upload Template, and Save.
- The left panel inserts content: Text, Photos, Elements, Engage, Icons, and Logos.
- The right panel sets the print options: the printing type (Postcards), the postcard FRONT PAGE and BACK PAGE designs, and the print size — 4" x 6", 6" x 9", or 6" x 11".
- An IMPORTANT checklist covers print-safety rules: keep important text inside the safety lines, stretch backgrounds past them to avoid white borders, keep text out of the Ink-Free Area, and preview the design before sending.
- Continue advances toward recipient selection and campaign approval.
Note: Monthly plans use a similar flow — Update Plan Settings opens a 3-step wizard (Select Design, Select Recipients, Track Your Campaign) where each of the 12 monthly deliverables shows its scheduled print date with Select New Template, Modify Details, and Approve controls, plus the “Schedule First Deliverable Billing Date.”
Setting Up Personal Info
Click Personal Info in the top-right corner to open the branding form used on your postcards: “The brand information set up here will be used for all the postcard designs for this campaign.” It collects the Displayed Company Logo, Displayed Office Logo (Optional), Displayed Company Name, Displayed Company Address, Displayed Agent Name, Displayed Phone Number, Displayed Email Address, Display BRE ID (Optional), Displayed Return Address, and Displayed Agent Photo, with Upload New buttons for the images and Save at the bottom.
Note: The page warns that updating your logo here also syncs it to your associated website.
