Note: Lofty is rolling out in stages. Depending on the version your account is on, some features or screens described in this article may look different or may not yet be available to you.
Introduction
The Calendar gives you a day, week, or month view of everything time-based in Lofty — appointments, tasks, showings, transaction dates, lead birthdays, live Lofty trainings, and events from connected Google, Outlook, or Calendly calendars. From the same page you can filter what appears, peek at any teammate's calendar, share your meeting-scheduling link, and adjust calendar settings.
Opening the Calendar
- In the left menu, go to CRM → Calendar.
The calendar opens on your own schedule in Month view — the header shows your name (for example, New1's Calendar).
Note: Lofty adds more than your own items to the grid — company events such as holidays and LIVE Lofty training sessions for admins and agents appear automatically.
Switching Views and Dates
- Click Day, Week, or Month at the top-right of the calendar to change the view.
- Use the back and forward arrows next to Today to move one period at a time.
- Click Today to jump back to the current date.
The label beside the arrows shows the period you're viewing — July 2026 in Month and Week views, July 3, 2026 in Day view. Week and Day views add an hourly grid with your account's time zone in the corner (for example, GMT+08) and a red line marking the current time; all-day items sit in a band at the top.
Tip: The mini calendar at the top of the left panel does the same job faster — its arrows page between months, today's date is highlighted, and clicking any date jumps the grid straight to it.
Filtering Which Events Appear
- Click the funnel icon to the left of the Day | Week | Month switcher.
- Check or uncheck event types to show or hide them.
The filter lists All, Appointments, Showings/Tours, Transaction Dates, Lead Profile Dates, Tasks, Lofty AI, LIVE Lofty Training for Admins, LIVE Lofty Training for Agents, Holidays, Social Posts, and Scheduled Meetings. Each type keeps its own color on the grid. Rows with an arrow expand into sub-types you can check individually — for example, Tasks splits into Calls, Emails, Texts, Other, and Transactions.
Viewing Event Details
- Click any event on the grid.
A popover shows the event's name and date. What else it holds depends on the event:
- Appointments add Description:, Location:, Owner:, and Participants:, plus a pencil icon that opens the EDIT APPOINTMENT form and a trash icon for deleting.
- Trainings add a Description: of the session.
- Grouped entries (for example, 3 Admin Trainings or Birthday(8)) open a popover listing that day's items — the trainings list ends with a Get More Trainings link.
Caution: The trash icon in the popover deletes the event — don't click it unless you mean to remove the item.
When a day holds more events than fit in its cell, click its more link (for example, 2 more) to open a popover listing every event that day; close it with the X.
Adding an Event
- Click Add New in the top-right corner.
- Choose Add Task, Add Appointment, Add Property Tour, or Add Social Post.
- Add Task opens the ADD TASK form — Title, Description, Lead, Assign to, Type (Email, Call, Text, Other), Date with shortcuts like Today and Next Monday, Time, Time Zone, and Set to repeat.
- Add Appointment opens the ADD APPOINTMENT form — Title, Description, Time Zone, Starts/Ends with All Day, Location, Reminder options, Owner, and Participants.
- Add Social Post leaves the calendar and opens the Create a Post composer, with the Social Agent panel alongside it.
Note: Step-by-step walkthroughs of each creation form are coming in follow-up articles.
Viewing a Teammate's Calendar
- Click your calendar's name in the top-left corner of the page.
- In the View Other Calendars search box, start typing a name — or scroll the list of teammates.
- Select a person to display their calendar — the header switches to their name (for example, Amber's Calendar).
Sharing Your Meeting Link
The Your Meeting Link section in the left panel holds the scheduling link leads can use to book time with you.
- Click the link dropdown to see your meeting link.
- Click the copy icon next to it to copy the link.
Managing Integrated Calendars
The Integrated Calendars section in the left panel lists the external calendar accounts connected to Lofty.
- Click the + icon next to Integrated Calendars.
- In the CALENDAR INTEGRATION MANAGEMENT dialog, click Add next to Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, or Calendly Calendar to connect an account. Connected providers show Remove instead, plus a Privacy dropdown (for example, Show as "busy").
- Click Cancel to close the dialog without changes.
Each connected account also has its own gear icon — it opens the same management dialog for just that provider — and an expand arrow revealing that account's calendars (for example, All Events) with checkboxes for choosing which of them appear on the grid.
Adjusting Calendar Settings
- Click the gear icon next to your calendar's name at the top of the page.
- In the SETTINGS dialog, pick a section on the left:
- Privacy — controls what calendar viewers see; Show as "busy" hides your event details while trainings, holidays, and social posts stay visible.
- Working Hours — a toggle that tells others when you're available and warns them when they invite you to a meeting outside those hours.
- Notification Options — whether appointment invitations and reminders are sent to the lead by Lofty or third-party calendars.
- Scheduling Link Settings — your Meeting Link, Default Limits for how many calendar days ahead meetings can be booked, Buffer Between Meetings:, Meeting Duration:, and per-day Availability. Scrolling further reveals Check for Conflicts (exclude busy times on each connected calendar from your availability), Default Meeting Details, Lead Capture (Import as a Lead? and Send Welcome Email? for people who book but aren't in your database yet), Lead Assignment, and Invitee Questions for choosing which fields are required when someone schedules a meeting.
- Click Cancel to leave without changes, or Save to apply.
