Financial Calculators (Mortgage & Affordability) (Lofty AOS)

Introduction

Lofty includes two financial calculation tools you can add to your website: a Mortgage Calculator and an Affordability Calculator. Both help site visitors estimate costs and start conversations about financing — useful for building engagement and capturing leads.

Each tool can be added as a dedicated page or embedded as a block on any existing page.

Mortgage Calculator

Helps visitors estimate their monthly mortgage payment based on home price, down payment, loan term, and interest rate.

As a Page

The Mortgage Calculator Page is a built-in page type in Lofty.

1. In the CMS, go to Pages > + Add Page.
2. Select the Mortgage Calculator template.
3. Configure page name, URL, and SEO settings. Save.

As a Block

1. Open the page editor on any page.
2. Click Blocks and find the Calculator block type.
3. Select the Mortgage Calculator style and drag it to the page.
4. Configure settings as needed.

Affordability Calculator

Helps visitors estimate what home price they can afford based on income, debts, and desired down payment.

As a Page / Block

Follow the same steps as above — look for the Affordability Calculator option in either the page template list or the Calculator block's style options.

Tips

• Add calculator pages to your navigation. Buyers actively searching for payment estimates are high-intent visitors. A calculator page in your nav makes it easy to find.
• Pair with a Form Block. Place a contact form directly beneath the calculator so visitors who want more guidance can reach you immediately.
• Link to calculators from Property Detail Pages. Mortgage calculator links on listing pages help buyers understand affordability before requesting a showing.
