Introduction
Adding a Lender to your Homeowner Agent allows homeowners to easily connect with a mortgage specialist directly from the report.
There are two ways a lender may be associated with your Homeowner Agent:
- Cost Sharing Lender – a lender who helps pay for your Homeowner Agent
- Co-branding Lender – a lender added for branding or referral purposes only
Once added, your lender can be displayed on your Homeowner Reports with their contact information and a call-to-action for refinance inquiries.

Types of Lenders
It’s important to understand how your lender was added, since this affects what actions you can take.
Cost Sharing Lender
- Added during purchase when splitting the cost of Homeowner Agent
- Contributes to your HA subscription cost
- Cannot be removed from Settings
- Can be shown or hidden on Home Reports
Learn more about adding a cost sharing lender here: How to Invite a Lender
Co-branding Lender
- Added manually in your HA Settings
- Does not pay for HA
- Can be freely edited or removed
- Used for branding or referral visibility
To view or manage your lender, navigate to Homeowner Agent. Select the Settings tab. Scroll to the Lender section.
Adding a Lender
A Co-Branding Lender is displayed on the Homeowner Reports, without sharing costs or getting access to the leads via the Lender platform. A Cost-Sharing Lender pays half the Homeowner Agent cost and gets access to Homeowner Agent lead.
In the Lender section, select:
- Choose a Lender to select an existing lender that has already been added to your account
- Add New Lender to add a new lender to your account
Enter the lender’s details:
- First & Last Name (required)
- Email (required)
- Phone (optional)
- Upload a photo (optional)
Check the box next to Share with others to make this lender available to other agents on your account.
Check the box next to Send Cost-Sharing Request to split Homeowner Agent costs with this lender. The lender must accept this request in order to split the costs. You can only have one lender attached to your Homeowner Agent.
Show or Hide the Lender on Homeowner Agent Reports
If you have a cost-sharing lender, it must be visible on Homeowner Agent reports. It is not possible to remove a cost-sharing lender from Homeowner Agent reports without fully removing the cost-sharing lender from your account. You can remove a cost-sharing lender and add them back as a co-branded lender, but the lender will lose access to leads that have been shared with them.
To disable showing a Co-Branding Lender on the Homeowner Agent reports, navigate to the Lender section of the Homeowner Agent settings.
In the Lender section, toggle Show in Home Report ON or OFF
- ON → lender appears on reports
- OFF → lender is hidden from reports
Remove a Lender
For Co-branding Lenders: Click the Remove (🗑) icon to remove the lender.
For Cost Sharing Lenders: The Remove button will be disabled. You need to fully remove the lender to cancel the cost-sharing agreement.
How the Lender Appears on Homeowner Agent Reports
When enabled, the lender will appear on the Home Report as a contact card.
The card includes:
- Lender name
- Photo (if uploaded)
- Phone number (if provided)
- Email address
- “Contact for Refi Options” call to action button
What Happens When a Homeowner Contacts the Lender
When a homeowner clicks “Contact for Refi Options”:
- A confirmation message appears on the report
- Both you and the lender receive notifications via:
- Push notification
- In-app message
- SMS (if available)
- A note is logged in your CRM
