We are beta testing AI-generated, fully personalized, auto property alerts. Previous Auto Property Alerts were extremely generic, following a preset template for the subject and body and only the listings would change. Smart Auto Property Alerts create a unique subject, body, and set of recommended listings for each lead based on their actual search and conversation history.
Key Upgrades:
Personalized Content: Email subject, body are all AI-generated and tailored to the lead’s persona and search behavior.
- Smarter Recommendations: The listings are selected by AI based on each lead’s latest activity, preferences, and engagement patterns.
- Dynamic Reasons: Every listing in the alert features a short, clear AI-generated “why this property” reason.
You can switch between Traditional auto property alerts and Smart AI auto property alerts in Marketing > Auto Property Alerts.
How Smart AI auto property alerts work:
- Lead Persona Creation
Lofty’s AI begins by analyzing a lead’s registration details, agent communications, search criteria, and recent website activity. This data is synthesized into a comprehensive “Lead Persona,” which includes a summary of the lead’s preferences and the most effective engagement strategy.
Smart Listing Recommendation
Using this persona, the system selects 10 active listings tailored to the lead’s interests. It applies a mix of strict and flexible criteria, along with fallback strategies, to ensure both relevance and coverage. Each listing is accompanied by a concise, natural-sounding explanation of why it’s a good match.
Personalized Email Content
The email’s subject line and body are generated by AI to reflect the lead’s unique persona and preferences. While the content is dynamic, the agent’s existing email signature remains intact. Listing cards within the email also include the personalized “why matched” reasons, adding further context and appeal.
Real-Time Feedback & Optimization
The system continuously learns and adapts. If a lead interacts with a recommended property by saving it, favoriting it, or requesting a showing, that behavior is used to refine their persona and improve future recommendations.
The fine print:
The email content cannot be edited for Auto Property Alerts in Smart Mode.
Manual Property Alerts can still be fully customized.
The AI can broaden its search when not enough listings are found. This flexible approach has been shown to generate 30% more matches compared to traditional exact-match searches. If no new matches are available, no email will be sent - just like in the current system.
This strategy is specifically designed for auto property alerts, which are typically used when before you have identified your lead's specific search criteria. These alerts help drive leads back to the website and open the door to further conversations. Once you have spoken with the lead and understand their specific needs, you can set up a manual property alert using exact criteria.
