Lofty has released a mobile app that is intended for use by your buyer/seller leads.
Please keep in mind that this app is not fully supported for every MLS, and we cannot guarantee the listing data. Though we are working to gain MLS approval to use the data, some MLSs might not make their data available, or they might charge a specific amount for using their data on a mobile app that you, as the user, would be responsible for.
Lofty websites, are always a mobile-friendly option that can be used by leads, should Closely not be available.
You will not be able to sign in on Closely unless (a) you have gotten approval for your account via your MLS and this has been set up by Lofty and (b) you have a test lead that you are signing in as (remember, this is a mobile app for leads, not for you as Lofty users).

Upon logging in to the Closely app, the lead will see several options relating to their home buying or selling journey.
At the top of the screen is a search bar. Here, you are able to search for a property by location. Multiple locations may be added, to refine the search:
Under the search bar is a series of tools:
A mortgage calculator is built into the Closely app, which can help determine the price range for a home purchase.
This section contains the user's real estate agent's contact information, so they may be in touch quickly and easily.
This tool filters properties per the user's search criteria.
This page connects to the Home Valuation page on the Lofty website and allows the users to enter their address to get an update value for their home.
In this section, homeowners can provide their home address and see the current value as well as request to sell the property.
Once the address has been provided, if the MLS has sufficient data to provide a home valuation, it will be available here. There will also be an option to request a Home Report from your Real Estate Agent. If the MLS does not have sufficient data to provide a home value, your Real Estate Agent will be notified to contact you with more information.
The final section on the Explore Page is MLS listings, filtered by the following categories:
- Open House: These are listings that have a scheduled open house
- New: These are listings that are newly on the MLS
- Price Reduced: Listings that have had a price reduction
- Recommended: Listings that are recommended for you, per your search criteria
The search page allows you to search current homes for sale via a list or map view. Searches may be saved so that you do not have to enter your required filters each time you search for a property.
This page allows you to track the value of the home you currently own, as well as request to sell the property with your Real Estate Agent.
The Closely app allows you to chat directly with your Real Estate Agent. Here, you can reach out to your agent quickly and see your previous conversations.
The profile is your Closely app account information. Here you can see your saved listings and searches, your agent's information, and edit your profile.
Click the hamburger icon in the upper right corner to enable or disable app notifications, submit Closely app feedback, or log out of the app.
Closely app users access their Showings via their profile. Once in the app profile, click My Tours
This tab allows the user to view the showing appointments and buyer tours that have been confirmed by their agent. The status of the showing will be displayed in the top right corner of each card.
Clicking on a card will take users to the tour detail page, to see more information, like the listing details, time, location, etc. If the tour has been completed, the lead can leave feedback directly in the Closely app.
This tab shows the record of the user's "Request a Tour" requests from the listing details page. Clicking on the request card will take you to the listing detail page.
Tour Detail Page
The tour detail page is accessed by clicking on a tour in the Tours tab.
The details include:
- The entire route for the showing
- The scheduled time
- The listing information
- The driving distance
- The driving time.
Users can switch the listing information by clicking on the listing point on the map or sliding the card. Clicking "Directions" will open the map app on users' devices for navigation. If they have not downloaded a map app on their phone, it will prompt them to download one from the app store. Clicking on the "Calendar" icon in the top right corner allows users to add this showing event to their device's calendar.
When the showing/tour status is "Completed" the user has the option to leave feedback. The feedback content is the same as the web version.
The Closely app will send push notifications to users for various events related to a showing, including:
- Showing/Tour Creation
- Showing/Tour modifications
- Showing/tour cancellations
- Reminders before the showing starts

A: The app allows buyers/sellers to work closely with his/her home team. All your buyer and seller leads can browse your listings and easily chat online with their agent anytime, anywhere.
Q: What can this app bring to you?
A: The app allows you, as an agent, to work closely with your leads. Your leads can receive your messages anytime, anywhere. All lead behavior on the app will be sent to your Lofty CRM as a note on the timeline.
Q: How does a lead download this app?
A: You can search for “Closely” on your iPhone or Android device app stores to download directly to your device. The download link could be provided to current leads so that they can sign in and use the features provided.

Q: How will your leads use this app?
A: Your leads will use the accounts that they already have registered with your IDX website to log in and browse the available listings populated from the MLS. They can also favorite listings that they can access quickly and easily, and send these listings directly to their assigned agent in Lofty.
Q: What if a lead's information (email address) is in the database of more than one Lofty user?
A: If you send the lead your Closely app link, their app will automatically be linked to you. If they download the app on their own, they will have to select who they want to work with.
Q: With the Closely app, can agents pre-load searches, etc.?
A: In Closely, the "Suggested Properties" section in the Buyer Market shows properties from the buyer property alerts set up for that lead by the Lofty user (agent). The "Suggested Properties" section in the Seller Market shows properties from the market snapshot/seller alerts that are set up by the agent.
Q: What kind of push notifications are supported for leads via the Closely mobile app?
A: Text or chat messages are supported (though these would also go to the lead's cell number), as well as notifications for new properties that match their criteria and scheduled showings.
Q: Closely has an option for leads to send listings to their agent. Who will the message go to in Lofty?
A: The message will be received by the agent in the "Assigned To" section of a lead profile.
Q: Can I turn off the Closely app link in my property alert emails?
A: Yes, you can go to your CMS tool Settings> Lead Capture > Closely App. There is a one-day cache for this switch, once you turn it off, it will be removed the next day.
