Closely is a consumer app designed to streamline the entire home buying or selling process, serving both buyers and sellers. It helps you better manage and facilitate real estate transactions, deliver personalized service, and enhance the client experience. Closely is offered to Lofty clients with a website at no additional cost.

Setting up the Closely App
After integrating your MLS and setting up your Lofty built website, the Closely mobile app will automatically be configured for you.
Navigate to CMS -> Settings -> Lead Capture.
Here, you will find the Closely toggle switch, which is turned on by default. By enabling the Closely app, your website, welcome email, and email alerts will display the QR Code for your leads to download the Closely app.
Toggling off the Closely app switch will remove the Closely app download QR Code from your website and email notifications, however your users can still access the Closely app independently.
How do leads log in or register for the Closely app?
Closely app accounts and Lofty built websites are interconnected. The lead's activity in the Closely app will tracked in the same way their activity is tracked on your Lofty built website.
If your leads have registered on your website, they can use their website credentials to log in to the Closely app.
If a lead has not registered on your Lofty built website, but they do exist in your CRM, they can download the Closely app through the QR code on your website or email notifications or from the invitation link you sent them, and Lofty will connect the existing lead in your CRM with the account they just created on the Closely app.
If a new lead downloads the Closely app via your QR code, and they do not exist in your CRM, they will be created as a new lead in your CRM with the Source listed as Closely App.
How do I know if my leads are using the Closely app?
If your lead registered through the Closely app, their source will be marked as "Closely app", as shown above. Any activity performed by your leads using the Closely app will be tagged as "via Closely" in the lead's activity log.
You can also identify Closely users by using the Advanced Filter in the Leads list.
How do I guide my leads to the Closely app?
If the Closely app toggle in the CMS settings is enabled, your website's footer, mobile site's bottom bar, welcome email, alert emails, and home reports will automatically include your Closely app's download QR code or download link.

Please note, the download links on your website, emails, and invitations will contain your agentId parameter to ensure that your leads are matched with you when they log in or register. If a lead downloads the Closely app from the app store, and not from the code or link you provide, Lofty will not be able to identify that this lead belongs to you and the lead will be matched with whichever agent has most recently had this lead register on their Lofty built website.
What does the Closely app download page look like?
After scanning a Closely app download QR code or clicking on the download invitation link, the following download page will open.
The link will automatically detect whether the Closely App has been installed on the device. If Closely is installed, it will prompt to open the app. If it is not downloaded, the system will guide the user to the App Store or Google Play for installation.
Is there an agent version of the Closely app?
No, the Closely app is a consumer facing app, designed to be used by your leads. To experience the Closely app yourself, register as a lead on your website and log in or download the app via your download link.
If your leads send you messages through the Closely app, you can still receive and chat with them through the CRM or the Lofty mobile app.

The Closely app will by default use the map center point you have set up for your Lofty built website. Navigate to CMS -> Editor -> All Listings page -> Listing Search -> Map Center Point to configure the point the map search centers on for both your website and the Closely app.
