Introduction
In this article, we will review how to utilize the Site Traffic Report to have an overview of your Lofty website and traffic status. The data for this report is generated by Lofty's built-in site logs. If you would like a different type of reporting data you may want to consider taking a look at our Google Analytics Integration.
Reporting
First, navigate to Reporting > Marketing > Site Traffic. *Please note that you can only view your website traffic, the subdomains are not included.
You can view how many people have viewed your website, how many pages were viewed, and how many pages are viewed on average in the selected timeframe. There is also a trend statistics chart under the overview numbers. The blue line represents current data, which you can compare to the gray line, which represents past historical data.
In the Visitor Activity By Hour section, you can have an overview of the traffic pattern, displayed seven days a week in the vertical direction, and also the traffic pattern displayed 24 hours a day in the horizontal direction. Each cell shows the number of visitors that visit your site by hour on a particular day. This dataset will show an aggregate of data over the selected time to give you better overall insights. All data is shown in your CRM's time zone.
In the New vs Returning section, you can see how many new visitors and returning visitors you've had for a selected date range. Please note that new visitors may also be counted as returning visitors if they returned within the selected date range.
In Avg. Visitor Activities section, you can see the average number of properties viewed or searched by visitors from different sources.
- Paid: Visitors that come from Lofty Paid Lead Generation.
- Direct: Visitors that type in your site URL.
- Search Organic: Visitors that find your site from a search engine.
- Social Organic: Visitors that visit from social media that are not from advertisements.
- Email: Visitors that come from clicking an emailed link.
- Other: Visitors from other sources.
In the Visitors by Source and Pageviews by Device sections, you can see visitor metrics broken down by source and visitor page views broken down by device respectively.
In the Site Traffic section, you can see the number of visitors, page views, and average page views per visitor for a particular page. You can compare visitor behaviors from different sources as well. Note that return visitors may count multiple times if they use a different source to reach your page.
