Introduction
When a lead registers on your website, it is important to capture their consent to be contacted by you. This article shows how to customize the disclaimer that a lead will see when they register on your Lofty IDX site.
Adding the Disclaimer
By default, your IDX website will have a checkbox with a disclaimer that lets a lead know that they by registering on your website, they are consenting to be contacted by you. Per 10DLC and TCPA regulations, you must capture this consent to contact leads via text or phone call. If you do not edit the disclaimer, it will look like this:
The box will need to be checked in order to complete registration and import the lead details to your CRM. This keeps you compliant and leads are aware that they may be contacted by you soon!
To edit this disclaimer, navigate to Website > Settings > Lead Capture > Pop-up Style & Settings. Toggle on the Customize consent switch and click + Add a new disclaimer to open a text box that will replace the default language on the registration pop-up.
Up to three (3) disclaimers can be added. Each disclaimer will have a checkbox that must be checked to submit registration.
