Your Lofty Front website displays live listings through IDX (Internet Data Exchange) — a direct connection to your MLS that keeps inventory on your site accurate and up to date, automatically.
How setup works
You don’t need to manage any technical MLS paperwork yourself:
- You tell us your MLS board(s) during onboarding (in the AI Website Build Form or with your Specialist), along with your membership/agent ID details.
- Our Specialist team configures the IDX connection as part of your website build — including any board-specific approval steps. If your board requires a signed agreement, we’ll guide you through exactly what to sign and where.
- Listings sync automatically, 24/7. Once connected, new listings, price changes, and status updates flow to your site around the clock — no manual updates ever.
Lofty connects to 500+ MLS boards across the country, and every plan includes five MLS feeds — see Adding More MLS Feeds if you need more.
Staying compliant
IDX display rules vary by board (required disclaimers, logo placement, listing attribution). Your site is configured to meet your board’s requirements automatically — including your personal disclaimer and brokerage attribution. If your board updates its rules, those changes are handled at the platform level.
If listings look wrong
- A listing is missing or outdated — most boards sync continuously, but some update on a schedule; allow a few hours before troubleshooting.
- Your own listing isn’t shown as yours — check that your agent ID in your account matches your MLS record exactly.
- Search results seem too broad/narrow — your listing filters control what displays; contact support to adjust them.
Still off? Contact support with the MLS number of the affected listing.
