Introduction
Lofty has published an Open House app designed to be used on Apple and Android tablets. The features are basically the same as on the Lofty web app (logging in via your computer) with one important difference–you can use the tablet app offline to collect open house registrants and then synchronize them to your Lofty CRM later when you have WiFi, etc.
For more information on using the "online" version of Open Houses via the CRM, see Open House Forms. This article will refer specifically to the tablet app.

The app can be downloaded for a tablet device using the following links:

Log In
Now that the app is downloaded, log in using your Lofty account (email) and password. You will have to be connected to the internet for this part of the app.
How It Works

Any open houses created via the web or tablet app will be displayed here
Expand and click on the House icon to open up the form for this open house:
Click the Edit or Delete buttons to perform either of those actions:
Add New
To add a new Open House form, click on the "+ Add New" button at the bottom. We suggest that you add this when connected to the internet via WiFi as the MLS address suggestions and listing images will only be loaded with an active connection.
The fields available on the tablet version for adding a new Open House are the same as with the web app version (see Open House Forms).
Open House Form
Expand and click on the House icon to open up the form for this open house:
After launching an open house form, open house visitors can fill out the form to provide their information and then click the "Submit" button:
With the tablet app, there are two different scenarios that can happen when data is submitted:
With an Internet Connection
After submission, the lead's data will be synced to your CRM automatically. Any notes you've added after their submission will also be synced right away.
Without an Internet Connection (Offline Mode)
After submission, the lead's data will be stored on your tablet's local storage. When connecting to the internet later and opening this app, the data (including any notes you've added) will be synced to your Lofty CRM.
Any open houses that are synced with the CRM will show up with the green checkmark. Those that are not synced with the online CRM will have the grey "x" appear:
If leads fail to sync, there will be an error visible on the Open House in the web app CRM.
Once you click View Details, you will see the reason (email duplication or "other") and have the chance to re-upload in scenarios where that failed reason has been resolved.
FAQ
How can I see the leads captured via the Open House tablet app?
Please note that in this initial version, the ability to view leads captured via the open house form on the tablet is not available directly on the tablet. You can see any synced leads in the Lofty web app or mobile app. Future versions will likely provide the ability to preview captured leads.
