Introduction
The "Home Valuation" block is a very useful tool for capturing seller leads on real estate websites. It will attract potential home sellers by giving them a free home valuation estimate for their property.
There are two styles for this block that only vary in small details. On both, it will take two steps to capture the seller lead's contact information and home address and the third step will show the home valuation estimate to the lead.
Here are what the two styles look like:
Add the Home Valuation Block
Editing the Home Valuation Block
STEP 1
The site visitor will input their home address into the address box (they can choose from the Google address suggestions) and then click the button to the next step. In order to attract potential sellers and improve the conversion rate, you can edit the title and description that are shown at the top of the page. You can also change the background image(s)--this can be just one single image or multiple images (slideshow).
As for the button and search box style, you can adjust the button text and its style and change the color of the search box border. In addition, the placeholder text in the search box can also be edited, the default will be "Enter your street address."
STEP 2
After submitting the address, the visitor is required to provide their contact info to view the home valuation estimate for their property. Here is that step:
The title and description of the right side can be edited and you can choose your preferred name format (full name or first and last name) and whether the name and phone are required. You can also assign an agent that is active on your agent roster as well.
*Please note that the email is required and cannot be changed to optional. The color of the "Next" button can be adjusted as well.
STEP 3
When the lead completes the previous step (#2), a home valuation report will be sent to their email and an estimated price of the address will be shown on the screen. Here is what that looks like:
You can edit the background color of this final set of data:
Lofty uses Bridge API (a company owned by Zillow) data to give the estimated price. If you do not believe that this price is accurate enough to show to your lead, you can choose "No" under the setting for Auto Home Valuation.
If "No" is selected, the following will display and then the agent can reach out to provide a more accurate estimate with their industry experience and available resources.
Home Evaluation Report
After requesting a home evaluation via this feature, site visitors will receive an email that looks like the following (assuming the option to provide the home value is selected):
