Integrate with PandaDoc
To get started, you must either integrate your existing PandaDoc account with your Lofty account or create a new PandaDoc account.
Important things to note:
- Each Lofty user will need to connect their own PandaDoc account.
- Each PandaDoc account can only be connected to one (1) Lofty account.
- This means that if a team utilizes the same PandaDoc login credentials, only one member of the team can host the integration.
- If another team member integrates the same PandaDoc account, using the same login credentials, the original PandaDoc integration will be disconnected.
- If your PandaDoc integration becomes disconnected, you will not lose the progress display in Lofty and your Documents will still exist in PandaDoc.
- PandaDoc supports pdf, docx, and rtf document types
There are three (3) ways to connect your PandaDoc account:
Entrance 1: My User Settings → Integrations
Entrance 2: Marketplace → Back Office Management
Entrance 3: On the Transaction Detail Page
The integration connect is the same, regardless of the entrance. First, determine if you already have a PandaDoc account or if you need to create a new account.
If you have an account already, log in via the Oauth window. If you do not have an account, you can sign up with PandaDoc.
How to send a document for signature
Navigate to Transaction Detail Page→ Documents → E-Sign
You can either start a PandaDoc with the current document you have open or upload a new document for signing.
Send Documents to PandaDoc
Step 1: Add Document(s) to the bundling
You can add multiple documents at once. They will form a pdf, which you can edit in PandaDoc and add signature information.
Step 2: Select your Recipients
If you are starting in a Transaction, the transaction owner, transaction contacts, lead, and lead's family members will automatically be listed as suggestions. You can also use the search bar to add any lead, team member, or vendor.
If the person is not listed or does not exist in Lofty, you can manually add them.
Step 3: Edit in PandaDoc
After you have added your recipients and clicked Confirm, the process will automatically continue in PandaDoc where you can add in your signature fields and send. If you need to edit the document in the future, it will have to be done in PandaDoc.
View or Manage Your Progress in Lofty
