Introduction
An Agent Website is the upgraded version of a website for individual agents on a team using Lofty. All agents have the ability to have an Agent Subdomain created for them. An Agent Website, however, is an upgraded/add-on website that can be added if more control is desired as well as the ability to use a personal vanity domain, etc.
Please note the following:
- Agent Websites are an upgraded add-on so there is an additional monthly cost associated with adding it (see Adding an Agent Website)
-
Lofty offers two (2) types of Agent websites.
-
Standard Agent Website:
- A non-editable sub-domain site with a customized vanity domain
- This site will sync to its parent site
- No MLS application required
-
Growth Agent Website:
- A fully customizable website that is not bound by its parent site
- This site will not sync to a parent site
- Requires its own MLS application and can connect up to 3 MLSs
-
Standard Agent Website:

Adding/Purchasing an Agent Website
If you do not already have an Agent Website, you can add this feature to your account as an individual agent by purchasing in the Lofty Marketplace.
Once in the Lofty Marketplace, click on the "IDX Website" category and then click "Learn More" under Agent Website:
Review some of the key features available when adding an Agent Website and then click "Order Now" if you would like to add this to your account:
If you are an Account Owner/Admin and are adding Agent Websites for your agents, you will need to select the Agents for whom you would like to add an Agent Website. This part of the process will provide you with an estimate of the monthly charges to add the Agent Websites.
Setting Up a Growth Agent Website
Once you have purchased the Growth Agent Website, you can now set it up. To do so, log in and click on the CMS:
You will then be guided through the next steps in the setup process for MLS applications, the domain you would like to use, etc.
As for the website style, you will be presented with two different options to start your Agent Website:
- Select New Style. Start your new website from scratch. No block styles, content, or settings will be copied from the source website.
- Copy Existing Style. All block styles, content, and settings will be copied from the source website. The Team Website will be selected by default but you can search for another Agent Website that is part of your account if you would like that to be the foundation for your new site.

Domain Configuration
For more information on how to configure your domain when using an Agent Website, please see the following: Domain Configuration Guide: Agent Websites.
You can also purchase your vanity domain and the domain will be configured automatically. To learn more about this, see Vanity Domain Purchase.
Multiple Agent Websites
You can purchase multiple Agent Websites if you would like to support various brands, or if you are a Lofty Account Owner who also wants to establish a brand site for their sales activities.
At this time, you can only purchase additional Agent Websites. And, you can have one Group Website and/or multiple Agent Websites, but only one Group Website per person.
Key things you need to know:
- Purchasing an additional website introduces two new concepts - Primary and Associated sites
- The Primary Site is the default website brand that will be used for website-based communication, like Property Alerts, Market Snapshots, Listing Tours, CMAs, etc.
- If the lead was assigned or imported to an agent who has multiple websites, the Primary Website will be the Associated Site.
- The Associated Site is the website brand that is used for an individual lead.
- The website the lead registered on will be their default associated site.
- Agents can change the Associated Site on the Lead Detail page.
- If an Agent changes their Primary Website, it will only update the Associated Site for leads that do not have a specified Associated Site; leads with an already selected Associated Site will remain unchanged.
- The Primary Site is the default website brand that will be used for website-based communication, like Property Alerts, Market Snapshots, Listing Tours, CMAs, etc.
Purchase an additional Agent Website
To purchase an additional website, navigate to the Lofty Marketplace > Branding and Marketing> Additional Websites.
Click +Add Company Member(s) to select the users that you would like to purchase an additional website for.
Once you complete the purchase, the user(s) that you purchased the website for will receive an email notification that a new website has been purchased that needs to be set up.
Primary Site
When you have multiple websites, you need to choose a Primary Website to use for website-based communication and engagement actions - like Property Alerts, CMAs, Home Reports, Listing Tours, etc.
The first-built website will be the default Primary website, but you can change the primary website in the CMS editor.
Associated Site
When you have multiple websites, you get to select which website brand should be used with your leads (Property Alerts, CMAs, Home Reports, Listing Tours, etc.).
In the section above, we covered the Primary site. This is the default website that will be used for leads who do not register on a specific site - like leads who are imported or manually added.
If you have multiple websites, you will be able to choose the Associated Site in the lead's profile. If you do not have multiple websites, this field will not appear.
