Changes to Account Structure
To ensure Lofty can grow with your business, we've restructured our system to better handle the complexity and variety of the companies using our platform.
With this update, scaling your operations is easier than ever. Lofty now supports Personal, Company, and Office logic, giving you the flexibility to manage your business at multiple levels. Account owners can purchase Office Add-Ons to seamlessly scale their organization within Lofty.
And coming soon—any user will be able to manage their teams with a Team Add-On, allowing for precise lead segmentation and more effective communication within teams.
Changes to Lead Capture
As we roll out the upcoming update, let’s revisit the structure of leads in Lofty—these are key to managing your business effectively.
-
Personal Leads
-
Any user, whether a Company Owner, Admin, or Standard User, can connect their personal lead channels. Leads generated from these channels are considered "Personal Leads" and are assigned to their creator by default. You can also set up routing rules to automatically forward these leads to other team members as needed.
-
-
Company Leads
-
These leads are captured at the company level—whether through your company website or integrated tools like Zillow. With lead routing rules, Company Leads can be distributed to anyone in your Lofty account.
-
-
Office Leads
-
If you’re using the new Office Add-On, you can now capture leads at the office level and route them to members within that specific office. This allows for more tailored lead management based on office needs.
-
Changes to Lead Privacy
This update will introduce the concept of "Personal" AND "Hidden" leads.
Personal leads are captured or imported by the owner of that lead. Only the owner of a Personal lead can delete or export that leads.
Lofty Account Owners determine if Hidden Leads are appropriate for their Lofty users and can choose to enable or disable this setting in Permission Profiles. If Hidden Leads are enabled, users will get a "Hide Leads" option in their Account & Security settings and a "Make Lead Private" toggle in the lead's profile.
Hide Leads option:
Make Lead Private toggle:
Account Owners and Admins will be able to see extremely basic information in the Lead List, including Lead score, last contact, etc., but they will not be able to open the lead, see any personally identifying information, or have any kind of communication with that lead.
Agents can assign others to their Hidden/Private leads using the additional roles in the "Assigned To" section. These assignees will be able to see, and work with that lead, and the lead will still remain private/hidden.
Changes to Permissions
Previously, permissions in Lofty had to be applied individually to each user. While this worked for smaller units, we recognized the need for a more efficient approach as your company grows.
Our solution? Permission Profiles.
Now, you can create customized profiles with specific permissions and easily assign them to multiple users in your Lofty account. This means faster, streamlined management of roles and responsibilities, allowing you to make changes to entire teams in just a few clicks.
You can check out the full writeup on Permission Profiles here.
Changes to Settings
We’ve reorganized settings in Lofty to make them easier to find and use. Now, settings are grouped based on where they apply, making management more intuitive and efficient.
- In Personal Settings, you can manage everything specific to you—like your Profile, Integrations, and Notifications.
- In Company Settings, you’ll find the global controls for your entire Lofty account, including Organization Hierarchy and Permission Profiles.
- If you’re using the new Office Add-On, the Office Settings section will let you control global settings that are specific to your Office.
